As the recent bridge work settles down I now find I can eat and chew with ease all around the mouth- something I had not been able to do for some time. And of course the appearance of the teeth is so much better. I now feel much more confident with my appearance when it comes to publicity shots and appearance with the band. Having failed as a child to preserve with the somewhat primitive treatment then available I learned to live with the consequences of overcrowded teeth. Ultimately this led to gaps being created as misplaced teeth were removed to overcome bit problems. Recently my dental practice changed hands and I had the good fortune to be introduced to modern dental practices and to be given the opportunity to receive a variety of treatments. The course of treatment selected, which included bridge, crowns and on-lays, had resulted in a greatly improved bite and has also had cosmetic benefits which have been greatly admired by family and friends. I can even whistle in tune now. All this has been achieved without recourse to the dreaded palette so much endured by previous generations. The treatment has been carried out in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, without discomfort, in a very professional manner.

Both my wife and I would like to say how pleased we are with the dental work carried out by Mr. Ghai. We both had partial dentures fitted and restoration work carried out on many of our own teeth. We were extremely pleases with the care and expertise given during the procedures. Mr. Ghai was always very caring and considerate whilst producing work of an excellent quality, giving a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing result so leading to an extra confident smile.

When I decided to have dentures made, the next important decision I had to make was which dental practice to use. Through the yellow pages and several phone calls made to numerous practices I chose 'Westlands Dental Studio' in Whickham. After six appointments with Dr Somal I had my new dentures fitted. My work involves meeting many people both at trade fairs and doing day to day sales. I need to feel confident in myself however since I was young I always felt self-conscious of having a gap between my two front teeth, although I was always apprehensive about resolving this problem.
